شذر is completely free: no accounts, no ads, no subscriptions.

We collect no data

The app does not connect to the internet, contains no analytics or tracking, and sends nothing about you or your device to anyone — not to us, not to third parties.

What stays on your device

Your chosen topics, reminder times, saved quotes and preferred look are stored on your device, in a container shared between the app and its widget, and are never copied elsewhere. Deleting the app deletes them.

Reminders

Notifications are scheduled locally on your device and pass through no server. You can turn them off at any time in system settings or inside the app.

Sharing as an image

When you share a quote, the image is drawn on your device and goes only to the app you choose. We do not know what you shared or with whom.

Children

The app collects data from no one, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above is updated and the change is explained here. Its substance will not change: no data is collected.
